First, a little about me:
I’m in love with Mafia Wars. I couldn’t tell you exactly why. It’s really just about the interacting with friends and family inside the game that gives it its tremendous reach and popularity. It allows an individual to show the world (and his/her friends and family!) how good they are at networking and completing simple tasks. Regardless, I love it.

Mafia Wars Defense
Attack and Defense Skill PointsPossessing a big mafia and first-class weapons has produced a general misunderstanding that there's not a need to put much into attack and defense skill points. This is clearly untrue. They're the major factor in determining the winner of fights. Keeping them a minimum of double your level, is a good rule to follow.
Note: When you happen to be fighting, where you make use of Attack and Defense Skill Points makes no difference as they are added together. The fight formula may well change to where it uses either attack or defense instead of adding them so, for my part, I prefer to keep them almost equal.

A hundred percent completion of all job tiers is Job Tiers Mastery. Bronze, silver and gold are the 3 levels of mastery for each tier and each job must be developed to 100% completion three times. You can not go on to the next level of mastery on a finished job until all jobs in the tier are mastered to that level also. The percent of finished job performance decreases as the mastery level improves, which suggests the job must be finished, at advanced levels, to master it.
